Buffy the Vampire Slayer???

So there I was, searching for info on Psalm 119. I was just looking around Wikipedia reading the article when I noticed a tab at the top of the page that said discussion. I clicked it then found this, "This article was nominated for deletion on 27/3/2006."

After having partially reading the thread. I found that the issue was this. Why have a Wikipedia page on each and ever chapter in the book of Psalms. The thread was in 100% agreement to keep the page, and one commenter said this.

"I think it's a pretty safe bet the individual psalms, remembered and read for several thousand years after their writing, will prove more durable than the individual episodes of Buffy The Vampire Slayer."

Okay, so just to let you know I also checked up on Buffy, A haphazard search brought me to episode 5 of the fourth season entitled 'Beer Bad' This episode was nominated for an Emmy for its merits in Hairstyling within a series.

No discussion was found for deleting Episode 5 of the fourth season that I can find. However there is some debate over a the proper Wikipedia process for posting a photo.

Funny, Sad or a commentary on our age, see at as you will or not at all.

oh, while I'm at it, 11-15

11. Give them your undivided attention.

12. Believe what they say.

13. Tell them what you like about them.

14. Delight in their discoveries. (This one is nice)

15. Listen to their favorite music with them. (I do, but I think they mean with out complaining.)

6,7,8,9 and 10.

Interesting, always interesting. This life never seems to rest in it's constant twists and turns.

It seems I got my pictures from Hallmark, all two. No major loss, again I'm thankful for my friends, peter totally did a good job at supplying me with a few pics, thanks peter.

Last night was pretty great. Our Missions meeting turned out as I had hopped. We talked about how each job is important and worth our all when it comes to serving the Lord, and the children of camp Larga.

Well, here is our next installment of ways to show your friends you care, 6-10. Some of these are easier than others. I guess the idea is always to look at how you can improve, and not at how your friends can improve. After all your the only one responsible for your own actions. lol Note to self!

6. Let them tell you how they feel. (Got to work on this one.)

7. Listen to their stories. (Sometimes this means stopping what your doing, not so good at that.)

8. Call them on the phone just to say hi. (Doing better here, still further to go.)

9. Answer their questions. (For me, its how I answer. )

10. Ask them their opinions. (And after that listen, seems there is a trend here.)

Well there you have it, numbers 6-10. Seems there is always work to do when it comes to our relations with others. One of the hardest and most rewarding parts of this life.

52 Ways

The year 52 AD when Barea Soranus was consul of Rome and when Ananias was accused of violence, who was then high priest in Jerusalem, Febuary had an extra day!

But that my friends is now why I am writing you. I'm writing to give you 5, not 52, hints on how to show your friends you care for them.

I'm glad to say that I will be able to better use these than any of my friends. ;-)

1. Notice them. (Easy enough right, the idea as I see it is to notice something about them that perhaps you over look)

2. Smile at them. (One friend of mine tested it out, It really works, look at a friend and just smile at them and see what happends, they will find its hard not to smile back)

3. Encourage them to think big. (Dangerous, perhaps, but dreams do come true)

4. Look them in the eye when you talk to them. (Not for all cultures, I read the other day in post modern american cultrue 60% eye contact is a good aim. You don't want to scare anyone now do you?)

5. Ask them about themselves. (Personaly I used this all the time, when I want to talk about someone, I stop and ask them what ever question I wish they would ask me. Sometimes that leads to my conversation. However I find that often it does not.

Take it or leave it, here are the first five ways to show someone you care about them.

ps, no spell check this time, deal!

Bromley!

So, Here I am, Bromley skiing area. The situation bad knee. Sure this is better than staying at home in Greenfield, no questions asked. But the pull to push the need jump in a board and rush down the mountain grows.

On a positive note, I met an old classmate here in the lodge. It seems that with the Springfield group camp up a few Russians one in particular who was in my first English class. I remember her pretty clearly, I mean she was after all good looking. I remember editing one of her papers once and wanting to read one about the whole creation evolution debate. Reading that paper now would probably be quiet the hoot as we both have come along way in our writing abilities. Just the same it was really good to see her, and I look forward to chatting some more before we leave today.

Peter told me Paul is a natural on the mountain, but then we all could have guessed that. I mean with his grace and prowess. Its no wonder that he isn't sponsored by Burton, or as Paul said Pepsi.

The above photo is a picture of "Super Ian" or so it says on his shirt.

Proud to announce!

It's always good to believe in something you are selling. Personally I can't sell something I don't believe in. Since I started drinking Ultra's Mind drink, I have not had a cold, flu or any other sickness. Now I usually get sick at least once a month so for me this is wonderful.

Now I"m not sure you can read the picture I've added for your viewing pleasure but I will tell you that Mind has Acai Berry, Mangosteen, Noni Berry, Goji Berry, Aloe Vera, Pomegranate, Green Tea Extract, Blueberry, Grape Seed Extract, Vitamins B1, B3, B5, B6 & B12 and over 120 Plant Derived Vitamins & Minerals.

Now take those 4 first ingredients, Acai Berry, Mangosteen, Noni Berry and Goji Berry and you will see that the Mind Drink actually surpasses any of these other products alone.

How do I know this, Because I called a company that claims to make each of these in their most pure fashion and I asked them what the ORAC (Oxygen radical absorance capacity) was for each of their products. Before I reveal this I want to make it clear that I"m not saying their products are bad or not pure.

Now for the ORAC ratings for said companies health drink products.

Mantosteen 7750
Gogi Berry 6250
Acai Berry 4500
Noni Berry 3200

Now all said and done, these are great numbers no question asked. Just think of all the free radicals running around in your body, the same radicals that cause sicknesses such as cancer. All that impurity is found and cleansed out by Ingredients full of our ORAC value.

Ultra Internationals ORAC value found in one serving of our Mind Drink is over 9000 and carries with it over 120 plant derived vitamins and minerals. Meaning unlike many other synthetic chemicals promising to do the same. These will actually be delivered and used by your immune system.

I'm quite glad I have had the chance to join Ultra, make some extra money, if such a thing exists, and gain a better style of life through my newly gained health.

If you are someone who either wants to make a few extra dollars or fix a seemingly broken immune system, give ultra a try. I'm sure glad I did. :)

Ian this is John Decon!

Time to Ante up!

Its been seven days since our dear Mr. Bauer's departure. Not like from this world, he only went to Chicago. Now before I get to the latest most dramatic news I would like to talk a little about what we have already done.

First and foremost we have tried to be supportive in our words and actions. Anything done for the first time may be very difficult. All journeys, trips and days of our lives have a beginning. This often deters people from getting out of bed in the morning. Come on, you know it's true each of us has at one time or another thought "Today would be better if I just didn't get up!" With this in mind I believe that our words of encouragement may have been just that for our friend. I do thank each and every person who added in with there kind words.

Secondly I know many of us have pitched in to purchase personally designed clothing which when bought a small portion goes direction to Ian Bauer. Now the part I like the most about this is that its not so much about the money, but about the action behind the purchase. When you buy a shirt it shows that you care. Check it out if you wish. I am sure your encouragement is more than gratefully received http://www.cafepress.com/ianbauer

Now among other things, I have taken it upon myself to add in my own personal way. Now I know that to many this seems more than a tad past social convention. For the past week I have wore each and every day the shirt which I bought at cafepress. I will try to ease your reaction by letting you know I did take it off for about two hours when it was in both the washer and dryer.

On much lighter notes, paul burek and I have put together a song in honor of our friend Ian. He will get to see it on sunday after his facebook fasting is over.

Personally I think the time to anti up has been from from over due. Its time for each of us to find ways to show others that we actually do care. Ian, thank you for being so easy to encourage. We each have a place in this crazy world. I'm glad mine has included you.

P.S. I really don't look like John Decan from Queen, lets just not go there!
